Bring your staff rafting for some real team-building

Whitewater rafting is a real team building activity with real consequences that is fun, physically and mentally challenging and requires a high degree of teamwork. Individuals must gain specific knowledge and skills and apply them as part of a team to successfully meet the many challenges of whitewater rafting. The whitewater environment is unfamiliar to most people and can be quite intimidating. Learning to deal with such challenging conditions is very rewarding both for the group and the individual.

The activity will begin with an outline of the session and a group safety briefing. At the conclusion of the safety briefing the group will be divided into raft crews each with their own River Guide who will facilitate the rafting activity.

Under the instruction of their friendly and professional Guide each crew will learn how to manoeuvre their raft on flatwater before moving onto the whitewater. Crews will complete a number of laps of the channel to put into practice the skills they have learned on the flatwater.
Throughout the activity emphasis will be placed on teamwork and fun to ensure a positive group and personal experience for everyone.
